Campaign Info

Dear Federal Employee:

Federal employees and military personnel in the Midlands Area of South Carolina believed their contributions given through the Combined Federal Campaign would make a difference by donating $1,297,435 to charities in 2009. Charities which conduct research to find cures for chronic diseaes; help protect endangered animals and the environment; build homes in remote locations in the world; and make a lasting impact on their local community by addressing critical issues at home.

Approximately 10,267 individuals contributed to this successful campaign effort, believing their contribution could be the one that provided safety to a child, fed the hungry or funded a program supporting our troops and veterans. The Federal workforce came together demonstrating individually each of us could be an agent of change in a time when help was needed the most.

Our campaign theme for 2010 continues to build on this momentum of "iCan, iCare and iGive"! I encourage you to look through this year's approved campaign charity listing to find a local, national, or international charity whose work is meaningful to you. Our gifts benefit thousands of charities. Please visit Midlands Area CFC website at MidlandsAreaCFC.org for more campaign and charity information.

Also, I ask you consider giving to the CFC through payroll deduction. It is the easiest and most efficient way to give. If you already participate in the CFC, please consider increasing your gift in 2010. If you currently do not participate, now is the time to impact your local community, nation and world by donating through the CFC.

Thank you for your support of this worthy effort.

With appreciation,

Major General James M. Milano Arnold Miller
