The Shaw Air Force Base struck up another charitable giving drive on September 28th at the Medical Group Conference Center.

Over twenty group representatives attended the kickoff luncheon meeting. In addition, Deputy Wing Commander Col. Anderson stressed the importance of the effort and stated it was the one time a year that Federal employees could be solicited.

Major Linda Coates is the project officer and MSgt.Randy Lightsey is the assistant project officer. This year's goal is $165,000 after raising a record-breaking $162,000 in 2008.
